Points & Leaderboard

Two different screens#

The Points page is your personal activity record. It should show confirmed and pending points, their origin, and any adjustments. The Leaderboard shows public rankings for a selected season or period using the published scoring method.

Season rules#

Before a season opens, publish its dates, eligibility, scoring formula, caps, supported assets, valuation method, exclusion criteria, correction process, and tie-break rule. Rules should have a version identifier that can be associated with each entry.

If those terms are not approved, show Season rules pending. Do not populate the UI with arbitrary multipliers or a fictitious reward pool.

Eligible activity#

The proposed system recognizes legitimate, eligible activity confirmed under the season's policy. A transaction's split legs must not be counted as separate user swaps or as duplicated USD volume. Missing price data should be treated explicitly instead of fabricating a value.

More route splits, more pool hops, higher gas consumption, and repeated unnecessary transactions are not intended bonus criteria. Routing should optimize the user's trade, not a point-farming score.

Pending and confirmed#

A successful on-chain transaction can still be waiting for points processing. Pending points must be labeled as such. Confirmed points require the indexer and season policy to accept the event. A network transaction status and a points-processing status are not the same field.

An entry should identify its transaction, rule version, base points, applicable bonus, and status. If a correction is necessary, preserve a readable adjustment record rather than silently changing history.

Public rankings#

Leaderboard filters and summary metrics must use the same time window. Your personal position should appear only after your wallet is connected. Public wallet addresses are not proof of a person's identity. The interface should not attach personal names or social profiles without a valid basis and consent where needed.

Referrals and campaigns#

A referral program or activity campaign is optional and requires its own published terms, budget, caps, and eligibility checks. It is not live merely because a card appears in a mockup. Referral links, payouts, streak multipliers, and partner benefits remain unavailable until configured and approved.

Future trading benefits#

Potential fee discounts or staking-related benefits are plans, not active entitlements. Their scope, eligibility, limitations, and risks must be disclosed before launch. A platform-fee discount does not imply free pool execution or free network costs.
